Those words are echoed by many who attended last year's Maine Family Business Awards. Now it's time to enter this year's Awards, sponsored by the Institute for Family-Owned Business, in partnership with Verrill Dana, attorneys at law. You may nominate your family-owned business, or another's. Enter the Maine Family Business Awards and enjoy recognition - and networking - for your company. For entry and judging criteria, go to fambusiness.org. It's all about the minds and hearts of family business.

If you are referring to us a family business which you think is deserving of the Maine Family Business Awards, simply fill out Part 1 and email it to us at gina@fambusiness.org.

Recommendations Download the application and save it on your computer. The application is comprehensive and thus you may want to fill out it over a period of time (not just in one session). Email the completed application to us at: gina@fambusiness.org. Photos, logos and promotional material can be attached to your email OR you can mail the application materials to us by March 30, 2012.

If you choose to fill it out the application online, you'll need to do it in one session.
