Who is eligible? Any Maine-based family-owned business that has two or more members of the same family operating or owning it, and whose policies and business practices have had a positive impact on the business and community.

Deadline: All application materials are due by March 30, 2012.

Communications - what are your most effective ways to communicate with family, shareholders, employees, and customers? (Send samples, if possible.)

Changes and culture - how have your beliefs changed toward training, opportunities for advancement, employee recognition, employee empowerment, benefits?
