Your Presenters:
Maddy Corson was Chairman
of Guy Gannett Communications, a Portland-based family-owned media
company with holdings in six states. She served as Vice Chairman from
1990 to 1994, and was a Director since 1981. She was Publisher of Guy
Gannett's Maine newspapers: the Portland Press Herald, Maine Sunday
Telegram, Central Maine Morning Sentinel, and Kennebec Journal until
November 1998. She's active in and has chaired or served on the board
of numerous non-profit organizations. Maddy brought her leadership
skills and personal commitment to the board of the Institute for Family
Owned Businesses, as a board member and past president.
Colleen
McCracken joined Thos Moser in February 1997 where she
assumed several key positions. Most recently, Colleen was promoted to
Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and oversees all daily operations of the
company including finance, manufacturing, operations, sales, marketing,
human resources and Information Technology.Key to Colleen's success is
her ability to lead the senior management team in achieving its
business goals and objectives that she sets as part of Thos. Moser's
long range strategic planning. Colleen serves on the board of directors
for the Institute for Family-Owned Business and the Manufacturing
Extension Partnership (Maine MEP).
